LG announced the internal SATA BE08LU and the external version BH08LS Blu-ray burners.Both drives offer 8x burning for BD-R 25GB and 50GB discs, as well as BD-RE SL discs at 2x. Burning at 8x means that a 50GB BD-R will be fully recorded in just 30 minutes(theoretically). The drives are support DVD and CD read/write and also supporting the Light scribe disc labeling technology.

During Ferrari's annual stockholders' meeting, company chairman Luca di Montezemolo announced that Jean Todt has resigned from all of his duties at the automaker. The former CEO and Formula One head has been the face of Ferrari for the last 15 years, joining the automaker in 1993 after a successful stint at Peugeot where he was instrumental in the French company's motorsports successes. In the following years, Todt thoroughly reorganized the Ferrari F1 team, eventually bringing racing legend Michael Schumacher, along with Ross Brawn and Rory Byrne, into the fold, and went on to preside over seven constructors' wins and five drivers' championships. Todt hasn't announced his next step, but we imagine a cocktail on the Riviera is in his future.

The ‘All American bike’ or rather ‘the ultimate cruiser maker’ Harley-Davidson had already announced plans to introduce its bikes in India and now we have some concrete reports. The Harley's are cruising into India by the end of this year.Price would range from 6-20 lakhs for the basic Sportster to the full on individually customisable models. The high prices are due to the import duties levied on Completely Built Units in India although prices could come down significantly if assembly operations start here.

Porsche is excepted to launch the Panamera this September in India to take one BMW’s 7 series and Mercedes S-Class sedan. Porsche India has already ordered 50 units of Panamera, which is expected to be priced above Rs 86 lakh for the Indian market. The rumored Ferrari SUV which will never happen. Ferrari's pledged it won't even make a sedan, much less a truck. Now we know what you're thinking. Porsche, Lamborghini, Spyker... they're all sportscar companies that have dabbled in SUV's, and in some cases have even toyed with the idea of a sedan after their SUV had already established itself. But Ferrari has never offered (not in serial production, anyway) anything aside from two-door sports cars, and that's not about to change.
